In high school chemistry, we have learned the laboratory preparation method of ethyl acetate, which is prepared by acetic acid and ethanol under the condition of concentrated sulfuric acid heating. The preparation principle of butyl acetate is basically similar to that of ethyl acetate, but the reaction device is different. The reaction temperature of butyl acetate is 115 ℃ -125 ℃, and it cannot be heated in a water bath, but in an air bath.
